Curls or lashes, curls or lashes, which were more divine... impossible to choose! Just look at this mop of curls little Samuel has been blessed with - absolutely divine! And when you add the long, dark eye lashes to the mix... what a little heartbreaker he is going to be! Samuel was such a character - far more interested in racing around than having his photo taken, but we still managed to catch his adorably cheeky grin for some snaps!!
Meet Dylan and Henry - age 6 and (almost!) 1! Two of the nicest little boys you could ever hope to meet. So much fun in the studio with these little fellows and their Mummy and Daddy (also two of the nicest people you could hope to meet - so friendly, so relaxed, so chatty!).
Watching Dylan look after his little brother was absolutely beautiful, he was so gentle with him, so protective - what great mates these guys are going to be. The boys are such a credit to you guys, Jo and Iain - thanks for bringing them in for their shots.
You know sometimes you meet someone with a smile that just lights up their whole face?? Well that's Ashish - just look at that smile! And those cheekbones???!!! Women everywhere would kill for those cheekbones!
It was another lovely morning here at Baby Steps, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and Ashish was showing us that bright, happy smile - what more could anyone ask for?!?!

Didn't we feel special today - this gorgeous poppet chose to spend that all important landmark day with us - her first birthday! Happy birthday sweet little girl - may you continue to bring your parents (and Grandma!) every joy the way you did today.
One family, four kids... talk about a full house! We spent the afternoon with the Brisbane family today - Mum and Dad, and kids Scott, Luke, Kristy and Matthew. Gorgeous family, gorgeous kids, simple as that!
We forgot how easy it is to photograph the older kids... we're used to chasing crazy, busy toddlers around the studio - these guys were told to sit here or here etc and they stayed put! What a breeze!
There are so many wonderful things about doing this job, but one of the best has got to be meeting so many beautiful families... and today was no exception.
Annabelle and Emilia came in for a visit with their Mummy and Daddy - what a gorgeous family, so lovely! As you can see these two little girls were just cute as apple pie and ever so obliging for their photos. Annabelle especially was having a great time and was getting right into the change of outfits and the oh so important matching hair clips... got to love a girl who knows her accessories!
And as for Emilia, well just look at those eyelashes!... need I say more?!
Just look at this family... sigh, gorgeous right, all 4 of them! And you know what, they are just as sweet as they are gorgeous!
Mum and Dad absolutely lovely with their kiddies, big brother as well behaved and patient as can be, and baby sister just full of energy and life... what a combination!

We had three boys in the studio today and BOY did we have fun!!! R, E and C were three very well mannered, well behaved and VERY fun kids to be around this morning. You can tell that C is absolutely adored by his bigger brothers and we have some great shots from today to show it. It was such a pleasure having you all in the studio this morning, thanks for starting off our day with so much fun and laughter!
Makayla was a ball of energy today and barely sat still the whole time she was in the studio! Mum and dad managed to get her smiling in our little cart pretending she was 'shopping' for all sorts of things. Lets face it, what little girl doesn't love a good shop!?
What a day we had in the studio today, 4 kids!!!! and we couldn't have asked for 4 more adorable or well behaved children. Meet cousins Miller, India, Declan and Makenzie. Miller and Indie live in Queensland so it was so nice to be able to capture them all together at this stage in their lives. Despite the distance they are obviously a close family and it certainly showed through on the day!
Today we had some very handsome boys in the studio. Meet Harry and Freddie, two very lively boys who are completely adorable! Freddie was throwing big smiles our way from the second he walked in the door and Harry was SO gorgeous, check out his mop of red hair!

It was "mens morning" in the studio today, when adorable brothers Hudson and Mason came for a visit.
Mason was such a little sweetie, he's at that wonderful age where he'll just sit still and smile (photographers favourite age!!!), where as Hudson was a ball of 3 year old energy, driving "ferries", throwing "snowballs" at us! He had such a wonderful imagination, and that imagination resulted in some fantastic, personality filled shots!!!
It has to be said... we have the best clients! We spent such a fun morning in the studio with E and N yesterday - talk about characters. These two didn't stop their cheeky giggling from the time they arrived to the time they left! They were both so natural in front of the camera, which is not always the case for their ages. E and N, you guys were an absolute joy to photograph!
We are blessed to meet so many lovely babies and children in our studio, and today was no exception. We spent the morning with Jake, Riley and Ella, and wow, talk about well behaved children. Ella was just a little doll (with a dimple to die for!) and the boys... talk about obliging, well mannered little guys. Kylie, you should be so proud of your troop - what a credit they are to you. It's always great to put a face to a name, and today was a very exciting day for us as we finally got to meet one of our long time associates! We have been working with Sanja from Impressionable Kids for some time now, so it was such a treat to be able to photograph her family today.

Oh what a difference a year makes! We first photographed "the lads" - Angus, Callum and Liam last January (Take a peek!) and they popped back in last week for some surprise photos for Grandma for Christmas! We can't believe how much they have all grown! These guys are such cool little dudes and were so well behaved - we couldn't have asked for better models! Special shout out to Aunty Amanda who came along to help on the day... and even jumped in a few shots with her nephews!
Baxter and Miller - have you ever heard two cooler names!? And two super cool little guys they were - quiet, calm, obliging... hang on are we talking about little boys here!??!! We've only got girls in the Baby Steps family... everyone tells us boys are wild and loud and crazy!!!!
So sweet seeing Baxter cuddle and hold his little brother, such a great big bro... you just know these two will be great mates!
