Curls or lashes, curls or lashes, which were more divine... impossible to choose! Just look at this mop of curls little Samuel has been blessed with - absolutely divine! And when you add the long, dark eye lashes to the mix... what a little heartbreaker he is going to be! Samuel was such a character - far more interested in racing around than having his photo taken, but we still managed to catch his adorably cheeky grin for some snaps!!
It doesn't seem all that long ago that we met gorgeous little Molly who looked like THIS. Can't believe this adorable little thing has already grown so much - just look at her now!
Molly is now the proud big sister to the equally gorgeous Annie, so Mum decided it was time to pop back to Baby Steps for some new shots.
Little Annie wasn't too keen on having her photo taken, but we still managed to sneak in some cuties!
Lovely little Louie - what a handsome little man! Louie was our latest little visitor in the studio and his Mum was telling me that it wasn't a great time of the day for him. Well let me tell you, I wish all our babies were that "bad" at their bad time of the day... what a breeze this little guy was!
Louie gave us some sweet smiles, but our absolute favourite shot from his shoot has to be this first one... just look at those lips!!!
PS. And Louie??? Isn't that just the cutest name ever!

Didn't we feel special today - this gorgeous poppet chose to spend that all important landmark day with us - her first birthday! Happy birthday sweet little girl - may you continue to bring your parents (and Grandma!) every joy the way you did today.
There are so many wonderful things about doing this job, but one of the best has got to be meeting so many beautiful families... and today was no exception.
Annabelle and Emilia came in for a visit with their Mummy and Daddy - what a gorgeous family, so lovely! As you can see these two little girls were just cute as apple pie and ever so obliging for their photos. Annabelle especially was having a great time and was getting right into the change of outfits and the oh so important matching hair clips... got to love a girl who knows her accessories!
And as for Emilia, well just look at those eyelashes!... need I say more?!
As followers of our blog would know, we have been out of action for the past few months, due to Amanda being injured in a serious accident. Amanda's road to recovery is a long and tough one but she continues to amaze all that know her with strength, courage and plain old hard work. Thank you to the many clients who have checked in over the past few months to see how Amanda is doing - we cannot tell you how much your care and concern has meant to us.
Please be advised that we will be taking the next 6 months off from sessions while Amanda continues to recover (not to mention meets her new little baby in March!) and we hope to be back up in running in October 2012.
There are several shoots that needed to be re-scheduled immediately after the accident and Kate has now commenced fulfilling those shoots, so you will still see a few new little faces on the blog over the next month or so, and then after that we'll be back bigger and better than ever later in the year!
Our first little visitor back in the studio was 8 month old Harrison, and what a treat to come back to. Harrison was all smiles and just lovely, and his Mummy was just as gorgeous! Really enjoyed chatting to you, Amanda, and hearing about your wonderful "surprise!!" - hope you love your photos.
Meet little Millie, an adorable 1 week old bundle of pink! Millie is the youngest of four and the only girl so we had a ball surrounding her in all things girly! We had many new props to try out on Milie today and she was the perfect little model for each and every piece.
Having friends bring their little ones into the studio always makes for an extra special shoot, so when Chrissy came by today with 6 month old Isaac it was a real treat. And just look at him, what a cutie in his little hat, couldn't you just eat him up??!!!
Chrissy, thanks for bringing your little man in to meet us!
Aaah, another day another cutie! Meet Isabella, one very cute 14 month old!
Isabella was such a doll. She just LOVES music - it was so adorable seeing her reaction to our chorus of nursery rhymes, she was smiling and bouncing around, and even singing along in her own special language. As you can see from these first shots, she gets right into it! All babies tend to respond to music, but this little girl was something special!
Gorgeous Everett was one of those cuties who was all smiles from the get-go... no warming up needed for this delightful little guy!!
Without a doubt Everett's favourite game was Peek-a-boo - that was all that was needed to capture these gorgeous grins.
PS. And check out his little furry Elmo costume - isn't he the cutest Elmo you've ever seen?!?!?
10 month old Rachel was the sweetie we had the pleasure to meet today, and she was just the cutest little poppet. So tiny and adorable! She was a serious little thing for part of her session, not to mention having a cold poor thing, but despite that she still managed to give us some adorable smiles and cutie grins! Mind you, we also love some of her serious expressions - so pensive and thoughtful!
One of the things we love about our job is seeing all the gorgeous outfits and accessories that our little models are dressed in by Mummy and Daddy. Yesterday's shoot was such a treat in the wardrobe department! Cutie pie Georgia came to visit and we just loved seeing all her beautiful hand knitted outfits and blankets, made with love by her made by her Grandmother and Great Gramdmother. She just looked like a little doll, absolutely adorable, not mention that she was all rugged up and cosy on a chilly Winter day!
Have you heard the expression "as cute as apple pie"? Whoever came up with that expression must have met Eva... just look at this adorable little cherub!
We have been blessed with so many happy little babies in the studio latey and Eva was no exception - smile after smile after smile. What a little treasure!
It was "mens morning" in the studio today, when adorable brothers Hudson and Mason came for a visit.
Mason was such a little sweetie, he's at that wonderful age where he'll just sit still and smile (photographers favourite age!!!), where as Hudson was a ball of 3 year old energy, driving "ferries", throwing "snowballs" at us! He had such a wonderful imagination, and that imagination resulted in some fantastic, personality filled shots!!!
Cheeky cheeky cheeky! Little Brooke was just a cheeky little ball of fun! Such a happy little thing, and so much energy (especially given that even though she's so tiny, she's already tottering around!) She basically had that big grin on her face the entire time she was here... and what a grin it is, her whole face lights up! How can you possibly resist her?!!?
Well there wasn't much chance of us forgetting the name of our new little friend today - Kate! And to top it off, Mummy was Amanda, and Daddy was Steve (which is Kate's husband's name)! We had a good old chuckle over that!
Kate was an absolute little doll, all smiles, and she just looked divine in all her little outfits. We loved her special "Kate" name brooch - it really took us back to our childhoods! You don't see these too much any more so it was a real trip down memory lane for us... so sweet.
Baby Benjamin came to meet us at 10 weeks old. Any photographer will tell you that the "rules" of photography are, that if you want those sleepy, curly newborn poses, you really need to have your shoot done in the first 10 days. So much for the "rules"!!! Benjamin was perfectly happy to curl up and sleep away for the second half of his shoot - and we were just thrilled to be able to capture a combination of awake and sleeping shots for Mum and Dad!
We spent such a lovely morning with Alex and Valentina on Saturday, we could have not asked for a better way to kick off our 3 sessions for a busy day!
It goes without saying that these two are gorgeous... just look at them. But it was their adorable relationship that melted us both! Alex has got to be the sweetest, kindest 4 year old we have ever had the pleasure to meet in our studio. He was just so beautiful with Valentina, looking after her, kissing her, cuddling her, and aside from all that, what a help he was to us!
Any photographer will tell you that keeping an almost 1 year old still is no easy task - that wasn't something we had to worry about on Saturday! Alex just kept moving right along with her (!), he made sure he was always close enough to his little sister that we could catch the photo! What a trooper!
What a joy this morning's shoot with Bella was - she was adorable and Mummy was absolutely lovely! And yet they call this work!?!?
Bella was all smiles from the moment she arrived in our studio, so we wasted no time capturing those gorgeous big blue eyes, not to mention her amazing eyelashes! Bella you are absolutely scrumptious - thank you for being such a wonderful little model for us!
