It's so lovely to have friends visit us in the studio, and an extra treat when they are old friends we haven't seen for a LONG time!!!! So it was just wonderful catching up with Dean and Meghan today after many many years(!), and we got to meet their gorgeous little guys, Josh and Will. What a pair... these guys were an absolute breeze to photograph - SO obliging! When it comes to energetic little boys who just want to race around and explore, that's not always the case so these two made the job super easy! Great to see you again guys, hope you enjoy your photos.

Samuel | Sydney Baby Photography

Curls or lashes, curls or lashes, which were more divine... impossible to choose! Just look at this mop of curls little Samuel has been blessed with - absolutely divine! And when you add the long, dark eye lashes to the mix... what a little heartbreaker he is going to be! Samuel was such a character - far more interested in racing around than having his photo taken, but we still managed to catch his adorably cheeky grin for some snaps!!

Dylan & Henry | Sydney Child Photography

Meet Dylan and Henry - age 6 and (almost!) 1! Two of the nicest little boys you could ever hope to meet. So much fun in the studio with these little fellows and their Mummy and Daddy (also two of the nicest people you could hope to meet - so friendly, so relaxed, so chatty!).

Watching Dylan look after his little brother was absolutely beautiful, he was so gentle with him, so protective - what great mates these guys are going to be. The boys are such a credit to you guys, Jo and Iain - thanks for bringing them in for their shots.

Molly & Annie | Sydney Baby Photography

It doesn't seem all that long ago that we met gorgeous little Molly who looked like THIS. Can't believe this adorable little thing has already grown so much - just look at her now!

Molly is now the proud big sister to the equally gorgeous Annie, so Mum decided it was time to pop back to Baby Steps for some new shots.

Little Annie wasn't too keen on having her photo taken, but we still managed to sneak in some cuties!

Louie | Sydney Baby Photography

Lovely little Louie - what a handsome little man! Louie was our latest little visitor in the studio and his Mum was telling me that it wasn't a great time of the day for him. Well let me tell you, I wish all our babies were that "bad" at their bad time of the day... what a breeze this little guy was!

Louie gave us some sweet smiles, but our absolute favourite shot from his shoot has to be this first one... just look at those lips!!!

PS. And Louie??? Isn't that just the cutest name ever!

You know sometimes you meet someone with a smile that just lights up their whole face?? Well that's Ashish - just look at that smile! And those cheekbones???!!! Women everywhere would kill for those cheekbones!

It was another lovely morning here at Baby Steps, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and Ashish was showing us that bright, happy smile - what more could anyone ask for?!?!

Full House! | Sydney Family Photography

One family, four kids... talk about a full house! We spent the afternoon with the Brisbane family today - Mum and Dad, and kids Scott, Luke, Kristy and Matthew. Gorgeous family, gorgeous kids, simple as that!

We forgot how easy it is to photograph the older kids... we're used to chasing crazy, busy toddlers around the studio - these guys were told to sit here or here etc and they stayed put! What a breeze!

Annabelle & Emilia | Sydney child photography

There are so many wonderful things about doing this job, but one of the best has got to be meeting so many beautiful families... and today was no exception.

Annabelle and Emilia came in for a visit with their Mummy and Daddy - what a gorgeous family, so lovely! As you can see these two little girls were just cute as apple pie and ever so obliging for their photos. Annabelle especially was having a great time and was getting right into the change of outfits and the oh so important matching hair clips... got to love a girl who knows her accessories!

And as for Emilia, well just look at those eyelashes!... need I say more?!

Just look at this family... sigh, gorgeous right, all 4 of them! And you know what, they are just as sweet as they are gorgeous!

Mum and Dad absolutely lovely with their kiddies, big brother as well behaved and patient as can be, and baby sister just full of energy and life... what a combination!

Next up on the blog is little lady Hannah, and as any good lady does(!) Hannah came with a mountain of adorable outfits... we're totally in love with her purple tutu/rosette singlet ensemble, and doesn't she just rock it!?

At 8 months, Hannah is at that delightful "sitting up but not yet racing away" stage, so it was a lovely, relaxing afternoon in the studio capturing this cutie pie!

It's boy town over here at the moment with two more lovely little lads coming in for a visit today!

Alexander and Jeremy were such cuties and full of energy... great fun! Check out Jeremy's cheeky grin!

Harrison | Sydney Baby Photography

As followers of our blog would know, we have been out of action for the past few months, due to Amanda being injured in a serious accident. Amanda's road to recovery is a long and tough one but she continues to amaze all that know her with strength, courage and plain old hard work. Thank you to the many clients who have checked in over the past few months to see how Amanda is doing - we cannot tell you how much your care and concern has meant to us.

Please be advised that we will be taking the next 6 months off from sessions while Amanda continues to recover (not to mention meets her new little baby in March!) and we hope to be back up in running in October 2012.

There are several shoots that needed to be re-scheduled immediately after the accident and Kate has now commenced fulfilling those shoots, so you will still see a few new little faces on the blog over the next month or so, and then after that we'll be back bigger and better than ever later in the year!

Our first little visitor back in the studio was 8 month old Harrison, and what a treat to come back to. Harrison was all smiles and just lovely, and his Mummy was just as gorgeous! Really enjoyed chatting to you, Amanda, and hearing about your wonderful "surprise!!" - hope you love your photos.

Millie | Sydney Newborn Photography

Meet little Millie, an adorable 1 week old bundle of pink! Millie is the youngest of four and the only girl so we had a ball surrounding her in all things girly! We had many new props to try out on Milie today and she was the perfect little model for each and every piece.

We had three boys in the studio today and BOY did we have fun!!! R, E and C were three very well mannered, well behaved and VERY fun kids to be around this morning. You can tell that C is absolutely adored by his bigger brothers and we have some great shots from today to show it. It was such a pleasure having you all in the studio this morning, thanks for starting off our day with so much fun and laughter!

Makayla was a ball of energy today and barely sat still the whole time she was in the studio! Mum and dad managed to get her smiling in our little cart pretending she was 'shopping' for all sorts of things. Lets face it, what little girl doesn't love a good shop!?

What a day we had in the studio today, 4 kids!!!! and we couldn't have asked for 4 more adorable or well behaved children. Meet cousins Miller, India, Declan and Makenzie. Miller and Indie live in Queensland so it was so nice to be able to capture them all together at this stage in their lives. Despite the distance they are obviously a close family and it certainly showed through on the day!
